History

Convenience

• Homewood Hills is located in Northwest Athens and one of the entrances is directly across from the Athens Country Club.  It's a very short drive (about 1 mile) to locally roasted coffee and tasty fresh donuts at two locally owned and operated shops.  And, it's only 2.7 miles to the UGA Arch downtown.  One of Athens' landmarks.
  
  
• The Homewood Shopping center is conveniently located at the entrance to the neighborhood as well to make a quick pick up of a last minute grocery item or a bottle of your favorite beverage easy .  Or, if you don't feel like cooking, maybe you'd rather eat out which is also an option.
  
  
• Jumping on the 10-Loop to skirt Athens is a piece of cake since the on-ramp is the first right turn when leaving the neighborhood.  Or, if you are headed to Jefferson, GA, Interstate 85 or Atlanta, a left hand turn puts you on your way without having to go through town.  It's a two 4 lane road all the way to the Interstate.
